DeckHaven

A high-converting one-page website for a local deck-building business

Challenges

1. Local contractors don’t need five tabs and twenty sections.
Most small trade businesses—deck builders, roofers, HVAC contractors—just want a website so people don’t skip them on Google. But too often they’re sold bloated, outdated templates or forced into platforms that don’t reflect their craft.

2. Modern website builders are beautiful—but underused.
Framer and Webflow make stunning design accessible, but most businesses stick to cookie-cutter WordPress or clunky DIY tools. We wanted to show what’s possible when you actually design with intention.

3. Hosting should be simple—or hands-free.
Many business owners would rather focus on their craft than figure out where or how to host a site. At the same time, some just want full ownership and lowest cost. We needed to offer both options.

The process

DeckHaven was designed as a proof-of-concept to show what a focused, high-end one-page website can do for small business owners:

  • Refined content flow: Instead of scattering pages, we created one clear story—from credibility to services to results.

  • Modern visual polish: Every section is clean, image-rich, and brand-consistent, using Framer’s flexibility to its full potential.

  • Tailored for trades: The tone, layout, and structure were inspired by how actual contractors talk and how their clients browse.

Results That Matter to Business Owners

One-page focus
No distractions. No maze of tabs. Every section drives trust, clarity, and action—exactly what customers need when they're deciding who to call.

Gorgeous, custom design
This isn’t another cookie-cutter template. DeckHaven proves that even small trades can have premium web presence.

$5/month hosting option
The entire site can be self-hosted via Framer for ~$60/year—ideal for budget-conscious owners who just want to “set and forget.”

Fully managed option available
For those who don’t want to touch a thing, we offer simple maintenance and minor updates (new team photo, phone number changes, seasonal hero redesigns, etc.).

Takeaway

DeckHaven isn’t a client project—it’s a signal. A signal that:

  • Small business websites don’t have to be bloated or boring.

  • One well-designed page can build trust, show work, and drive action.

  • Custom doesn’t have to mean expensive or complicated.

If you’re a contractor looking for presence—not complexity—we’ll build you something clean, clear, and conversion-ready.
